Pittsburgh Combat Club
Self-Defense e-Course

The Pittsburgh Combat Club Self-Defense e-Course (SDEC) is for those who want to learn a streamlined, effective program of self-defense on-line! This is an ideal program for those who are too far away from our home base (Pittsburgh, PA) to get to regular, weekly classes. The Self-Defense e-Course is divided into easy-to-digest learning modules that students can progress through on their own. Everything is accessible via the internet through any internet capable device.

Program Overview

FORMAT:

  • Students will be given access to learning modules. A learning module is a small, typically, 15 minuet video that the student can watch and learn. Modules cover the three key training areas of self-defense that the Pittsburgh Combat Club focuses on: bone (hand-to-hand combatives), baton (blunt-weapon combatives) and blade (edged-weapon combatives). Each of these key training areas will be further broken down into sub modules for easy learning and retention.

FEEDBACK:

  • After watching and practicing the content of a specific module, the student will submit a video of themselves performing the module’s technique/focus.

  • David and the PCC staff instructors will evaluate the students’ videos and follow-up with a basic, partial or full evaluation (your choice).
